About Locoal
Locoal is a sustainability technology company on a mission to decarbonize the world’s waste streams and produce climate-friendly co-products that have a positive environmental and economic impact. Each year, the U.S. spends more than $10 billion transporting 200 million tons of forestry waste to landfills, resulting in 2 billion tons of CO2 emissions, which is harmful to our health, communities, and the environment. Locoal's proprietary hardware technology generates clean energy while converting biomass waste into biochar, a carbon-capture material that renews soil and offsets the negative environmental impact of carbon emissions.
